Albert Einstein, born March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany, died April 18, 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey, was a jew-German theoretical physicist who developed the theory of general relativity, which led to a revolution in physics. Einstein is considered one of the fathers of modern physics and is considered by some to have had one of the most creative intellects ever. He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the photoelectric effect.
Einstein is one of 1900s most prominent figures. He has come to personify scientific ingenuity.
