Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

Albert Einstein, born March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany, died April 18, 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey, was a jew-German theoretical physicist who developed the theory of general relativity, which led to a revolution in physics. Einstein is considered one of the fathers of modern physics and is considered by some to have had one of the most creative intellects ever. He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the photoelectric effect. Einstein is one of 1900s most prominent figures. He has come to personify scientific ingenuity.

Charles Lindbergh 1902-1974

Charles Lindbergh, February 4, 1902 – August 26, 1974), nicknamed Slim, Lucky Lindy, and The Lone Eagle, was an American aviator, author, inventor, explorer, and social activist. As a 25-year-old U.S. Air Mail pilot, Lindbergh emerged suddenly from virtual obscurity to instantaneous world fame as the result of his Orteig Prize-winning solo non-stop flight on May 20–21, 1927, made from Roosevelt Field, located in Garden City on New York's Long Island to Le Bourget Field in Paris, France, a distance of nearly 3,600 statute miles (5,800 km), in the single-seat, single-engine purpose built Ryan monoplane Spirit of St. Louis. Lindbergh, a U.S. Army Air Corps Reserve officer, was also awarded the nation's highest military decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his historic exploit.

Simon Cowell, born October 7, 1959 in Brighton, East Sussex, is a British talent scout, television personality, artist, former music director of Sony BMG and now owner of the production company Syco TV. Cowell is known as one of the jurors in the American TV hit American Idol, where he has become the world's best-paid male TV profile. Before that Cowell figured in British Pop Idol, which is the model for American Idol, but decided after a few years to launch his own sequel, The X Factor, where he also appears as a judge. Cowell's company Syco Television is also behind the programs America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent. He has been both hated and loved for his blunt comments to those who sought an audition in the U.S. and UK and is today considered a popikon in the TV industry.
